Recipe Ingredients

1-15 oz. box ready to roll crust
1 lb. lean ground burger
1 T. veg oil
1 med. onion,diced
1/2 green pepper.diced
1/2 red pepper,diced
4.5 oz. can hot chilies,drained,diced
15 oz. can RO TEL Mild diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning
6 oz. mexican shred cheese
6 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
3 oz. cream cheese,slice and cubed


Directions

Heat oil in skillet and brown burger with onion.
Add peppers,chilies and RO TEL drained tomatoes with taco packet
Simmer 10 min...drain well.
Prepare bottom pie shell in a deep dish 8" pie pan.
Heat oven to 450 F
Layer cheese slice,meat,cream cheese and shred cheese-REPEAT
Top with pie crust.Roll edges upward then flute.Cut 3 slits in the top of pie for steam to escape.
Foil edge the pie to prevent burning.
Place on a baking sheet pan and bake 450 F for 20 min.Reduce heat to 400 F and remove foil from edges-bake additional 15min.
Cool slightly then serve. Top with sour cream
